Newport and Depoe Bay Salmon Fishing Guide

One of the most action packed fisheries of the year where double, triple and quad hookups at a time are very common and will keep you on your toes! Just offshore of Newport and Depoe Bay we will target aggressive and actively feeding salmon that are staging and gaining up to a pound a week for their  migration into our coastal bay and river systems. Starting in mid June and running through the month of September.

Lingcod and Rockfish

Lingcod and bottom fishing trips can be added as a combo to your ocean salmon trip. Keep in mind this will split the day. Or can be requested as a target species only for the day. Jigs, whole herring and flys are best while targeting these incredibly tasty bottom fish that like to hang out over the reefs.

Ocean Coho Salmon Fishing

Keep an eye on that rod! It wont take long for an aggressive takedown once we land on giant schools of feeding coho salmon. Flashers with spinners as well as bait are preferred methods to grab the attention of these aggressive feeding fish.
